Protects metal surfaces

The combination of EP additives and molybdenum disulfide solid film lubricant helps protect against component wear under high load conditions and/or shock loading. Rust and corrosion inhibitors helps protect metal surfaces in wet operating conditions. Even if by mistake insufficient grease is used, some molybdenum  disulfide tends to stay in place and helps to protect metal surfaces.
